About the role
The Data Reconciliation Clerk is responsible for reviewing and verifying service data within the Dispatch & Scheduling system to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role supports accurate reporting and billing by identifying and resolving data discrepancies. The Data Reconciliation Clerk works closely with operations staff, the Billing Auditor, and other stakeholders to maintain the integrity of performance data.
Responsibilities
- Review service data in the Trapeze system (or other designated Dispatch & Scheduling system) for accuracy, focusing on trip coding and operational performance.
- Validate MetroAccess performance data from the telecommunications system, ensuring alignment with operational records.
- Identify questionable or incorrect data and collaborate with operations staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Work with the Billing Auditor to ensure service data supports accurate and timely payments to service providers.
- Collaborate with the Operations Reporting & Performance Analyst to ensure operational reports accurately reflect performance data.
- Provide input to improve data accuracy and reporting processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the accuracy and efficiency of service data reconciliation.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
- Previous experience in a data analysis or reconciliation role, preferably within a medium or large organization managing large data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
