Reconciliation Specialist - 3rd Shift - Food Manufacturing

Essential Position Functions

  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies in M3 related to manufacturing, production reporting, and material consumption.
  • Analyze and correct production variances, including yields, scrap, rework, issuing, and backflush errors.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies by reviewing production orders, BOMs, and transactions.
  • Partner with Production, day DC Warehouse Inventory, and Receiving Warehouse to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of production-related inventory transactions in M3.
  • Support end-of-production-day inventory close by reconciling manufacturing inventory and open production orders.
  • Identify process gaps or system issues impacting inventory accuracy and recommend corrective actions to the appropriate Department and/or Leadership.
  • Maintain reconciliation documentation to support audits and internal controls.
  • Monitor variance trends and escalate recurring or systemic issues to Operations and Business Process teams.
  • Support the month-end inventory close by reconciling manufacturing inventory and open production orders.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Some college or Technical Training/Certificate
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the food manufacturing environment, warehouse inventory management, manufacturing reconciliation ERP experience

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of production reporting, inventory consumption and its processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data review and reporting)
  • Basic PC and 10-key skills are required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

Physical Demands And Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer required while in the office.
  • Prolonged periods performing repetitive actions.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 30 lbs.
  • Must wear required food safety items such as smocks, hair nets, beard nets and waterproof boots or shoe covers.
  • In areas where hearing protection is required, must be able to wear appropriate hearing protection.
  • The environment may be wet or dry, and temperatures may range from 0°F to 110°F.
  • Office, production, and warehouse environment.
  • Business demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
