About the Role

Under direct supervision, the Business Solutions Reconciliation Consultant I operates independently to support the organization's objectives and mission. This role requires effective communication skills, collaboration with internal and external contacts, adherence to deadlines, strong organizational and time management abilities, and autonomy in handling projects and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Record and manage group payments received from CM Client in SystemI.
  • Redirect payments with discrepancies in CM Client to the appropriate basket for resolution.
  • Examine return checks received from accounting, scanning them into CM Client.
  • Enter and manage Backout/Apply and Suspense Form details from CM Client into SystemI.
  • Handle the processing of Government Allotments from OnDemand, accurately incorporating them into SystemI.
  • Input and manage Group Remittance Payments from CM Client into SystemI.
  • Manage reconciliation by handling incoming calls and emails, as well as initiating outbound communications to assist group account holders and associates with inquiries about unbalanced payments.
  • Assess, structure, and share group payroll documents received from group account holders or associates to reconcile payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Degree required.
  • 0-1+ years prior experience working in customer service.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good typing and 10-key skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good phone and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with users, peers, managers, and vendors.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines with a detailed-oriented, analytical, and organized approach.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to change.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and problem-solving mindset.

Schedule

  • Full time.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality required, including some evenings and weekends to ensure all business is processed.

Work Environment

The duties of this position are performed in a professional office environment. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. The role may involve extended periods of computer work or other sedentary tasks. Travel is not required for this position.

This is a non-exempt position.
