Receptionist - Radiology
Responsibilities
The Radiology Receptionist/File Clerk performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department, including answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Additional duties include filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records, and demonstrating knowledge of Radiology test terminology. This role requires good telephone etiquette, a polite and friendly demeanor, and the ability to maneuver through the reception and outside storage areas. Clerical support involves using telephones, computers, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), and running errands throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- 1 year of receptionist work experience preferred
- Knowledge of Radiology test terminology preferred
- High School diploma or Equivalent required
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $15.40 to $20.19, including estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation. The exact starting pay will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
