Receptionist - Peoria
The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors to attend to all callers/visitors promptly and accurately. Reporting to the Center Administrator at the Groves Clinic, the Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. They take and distribute accurate messages, greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor logs, alert appropriate parties of visitor arrivals, or direct visitors to appropriate offices, departments, or employees. They respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources regarding location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Healthcare setting (preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail, Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.)
- A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player attitude
- Patient-facing demeanor and experience running the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Must be willing to screen for TB if selected for this role.
- Value-based care model experience
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year
