Schedule: 12:30 am – 8:30 am
About the role
Greet, assist, and direct visitors, residents, and other callers. Coordinate with the Recreation Department to provide various recreation activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
- Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to visitors and residents; ascertain the nature of their business and direct them to appropriate locations in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
- Call for an escort when necessary.
- Receive messages, flowers, newspapers, and other items; notify appropriate staff and arrange delivery to residents or staff.
- Perform various recreation activities such as exercise, games, and discussion groups.
- Maintain files on residents’ requests for meal service and other needs.
- Maintain a directory and files on current residents, including their locations, status, and other pertinent information.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings; attend required meetings.
- Handle all incoming emergencies through the Call-for-Aid System; notify and direct appropriate staff.
- Schedule resident transportation requests.
- Input maintenance and housekeeping work orders.
- Maintain Outlook calendar for guest room reservations.
- Fill in as needed for Administrative Assistants.
- Sort and distribute all incoming correspondence.
- Assist staff with administrative duties and requests.
- Receive daily prescriptions from various pharmacies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service and office experience is preferred.
- Provide care and services demonstrating behaviors and principles of person-centered care, including dignity, respect, compassion, coordinated care, support, and personalized treatment.
