Receptionist - Centerwell - North Las Vegas

The Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. Your role will involve greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining patient records. As a Receptionist you will perform clinical tasks such as:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information
  • Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized
  • Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination

Required Qualifications:

  • One year or more of healthcare, customer service or call center experience
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines and high call volume
  • Value-based care model experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Other Qualifications:

  • Value-based care model experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Work Hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 2335 E Lake Mead Blvd, North Las Vegas, NV 89030

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
