Receptionist
About the role
The Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist provides reception and administrative support for an AM Law 100 law firm. The ideal candidate will handle phone calls, greet guests, and assist with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for visitors and staff in a high-touch environment.
- Work closely with the client's staff to assist with the front office.
- Answer and forward calls to the appropriate party as well as be able to take accurate and complete messages for those who are unavailable.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for the firm including credit card reconciliation and various assigned projects.
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception desk and front lobby area.
- Solve problems by addressing issues and finding effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively through written and oral communication.
- Supports document management by organizing and maintaining files and administrative records.
- Engage in interpersonal communication to foster a positive work environment.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year law firm or other professional services experience preferred.
- Enhanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good relationship building and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.

Pay
$20-25/hr (based on experience)
Schedule
Monday-Friday (an 8am - 5pm shift. Overtime flexibility on weeknights is a requirement as many events are hosted throughout the year)
