RECEPTIONIST

About the role
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and directing all patients, visitors, and staff upon entering or calling the hospital. Ensures visitors obtain a visitor pass upon entering the lobby. The role assists indirectly in providing patient care by maintaining a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment. Strong customer service skills are required to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff entering or calling the hospital.
- Issue visitor passes upon entry to the lobby.
- Ensure a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Schedule
- Casual/On Call
- Evening shift (minimum 1 hour weekly)
Pay
Salary range: $17.37/hour – $28.68/hour. Compensation is based on equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
