Overview
NYSE Texas is seeking a Receptionist to support a fast-paced and growing office. The role serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and guests, delivering a seamless, professional, and hospitality-driven front-of-house experience.
Job Purpose
The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring a positive experience
- Manage guest check-in procedures and security protocols
- Cook up with internal teams for guest arrivals and meetings
- Maintain reception area appearance and organization
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Support administrative tasks as needed across departments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, Multimedia, and Events
- Catering setup and basic event coordination
- Afford meeting room scheduling and readiness
- Afford office supply tracking and light administrative tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Service-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain at front desk for extended periods
- Handle light lifting and office tasks as needed
