About the role
The Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service and serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, employees, and the general public.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take accurate messages when needed.
- Provide information and assistance to residents, visitors, and the general public.
- Monitor and manage the front entrance and visitor sign-in process.
- Assist visitors with locating residents, staff members, or departments.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming reception area.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and other deliveries.
- Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and facility information.
- Assist with scheduling, appointments, and other administrative needs as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and management.
- Follow all facility policies and procedures, including safety and security requirements.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the facility.
- Respond to resident and visitor concerns appropriately and notify the appropriate department or supervisor when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to greet and interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Schedule
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Every Other Weekend: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Every Other Holiday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
