About the role
Generator Supercenter is North America’s top provider of standby generator systems, offering high‑quality products, turnkey installations, and certified service. Our mission is to joyfully provide peace of mind to our customers, support our team with purpose and respect, and lead with integrity and service in everything we do. The Front Desk Receptionist supports office staff, greets visitors, handles phone calls, and keeps the front‑of‑house areas organized and tidy.
Responsibilities
- Answer, direct, transfer, or forward all phone calls.
- Greet and welcome visitors.
- Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, paper, etc.).
- Notify company personnel of waiting guests/visitors when necessary.
- Update office‑wide calendars and spreadsheets as needed.
- Help manage office supply inventory.
- Check for incoming mail at the front box twice daily (morning & afternoon).
- Assist the sales team with organizing sales files and preparing potential‑customer questionnaires.
- Maintain reception, conference room, kitchen, and bathroom areas clean.
- Document incoming calls and information as needed.
- Update existing customer information.
- Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks and support other office staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.
- Required language proficiency.
- Good data entry and typing skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good judgment, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Stress tolerance and resilience.
- Ability to multitask and perform various clerical duties.
- Friendly intercom/paging voice.
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
