Receptionist

About the role

Nathan Williams, Practice Manager at Bupa Dental Care Eckington, is looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This position will be based across our practices in Eckington, Chesterfield and Dronfield, with occasional travel to Steeple Grange when required. Flexibility to work across multiple sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and professional manner
• Managing appointments and diary bookings
• Handling telephone and email enquiries
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administrative activities
• Ensuring the reception area remains welcoming and organised

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-focused role
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Confidence using IT systems to manage bookings and records
• A proactive, flexible approach - ready to help where needed to support the team
• Professionalism, empathy, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service
• Confident in promoting and upselling Bupa Dental Care products and services including plan options, finance and insurance claims
