Receptionist
About the Role
The Receptionist is responsible for answering the telephone in a courteous manner and transferring calls to appropriate staff members, taking accurate messages and forwarding them in a timely manner, providing accurate directions in response to inquiries, maintaining a current and accurate visitor's log, receiving and distributing incoming paperwork, applications and mail quickly and completely, responding to inquiries for information in a timely and thorough manner, accepting deliveries and routing them to appropriate departments, performing copying and routine filing as requested, distributing all mail and facsimiles to appropriate personnel, sending outgoing mail and facsimiles as requested, ordering supplies for the corporate office and maintaining inventory of basic office supplies, keeping files and records well-organized, performing administrative tasks for the billing office, and following verbal and written instructions accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 years of clerical/reception experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a timely manner with accuracy and thoroughness
