About the role
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of administrative and front desk duties including managing a multi-line phone system, mail handling, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.
- Provide customer service and communication skills, including a friendly and professional demeanor, patience, empathy, active listening skills, and clear communication.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- One to three months of related experience.
- A strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.
