Receptionist

The Amentum office in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a receptionist to serve as the phone operator and handle administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Control badge issue and visit coordination
  • Safety briefings completion
  • Conference room scheduling
  • Messaging and deliveries
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Occasional overtime (weekday mornings and evenings) is required. No travel is necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED, degree preferred
  • Above average communication skills both written and oral
  • Good command of the English language
  • Good phone skills
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software package including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with Visio or any Project Controls software packages (a plus)

Essential Functions

  • Office environment
  • May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals, and industrial facilities
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist, sit for extended periods, climb, crawl, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Standard office equipment - PC, telephone, fax, copier, related equipment
  • Regular attendance mandatory in Oak Ridge, TN office
  • Overtime/work outside normal schedule required
  • No travel required

Other Essential Functions

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
  • Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
  • Pre-employment drug and background check required

Compensation Details

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
