Receiving Supervisor
About the role
Supervise daily work schedules in receiving and inventory departments, ensuring workload alignment with operational priorities and service standards. Lead catalog and order interface processes for accuracy and timely resolution. Resolve escalated customer and operational issues through coordination and judgment. Facilitate warehouse organization to enhance safety, visibility, and efficiency. Monitor stock levels to ensure material availability and accurate planning. Drive workflow improvements through process enhancements and team guidance. Promote accountability, role clarity, and consistent task completion among team members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise workflow and workload distribution.
- Ensure accuracy in catalog and ordering processes.
- Address and resolve escalated issues across stakeholders.
- Maintain warehouse organization standards.
- Monitor inventory levels for operational efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and guide team execution for accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics, particularly in receiving or inventory control.
Skills
- Effective communication skills, strong relationship-building, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Leadership skills with experience in staff development.
- Proficient with computers and company systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
