Receiving Station Crew - Upper Snake River Area

About the role

Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking seasonal laborers for their beet receiving stations. Positions last from six to eight weeks and offer opportunities for a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Check quality assurance of beet crop
• Track samples using a tablet
• Print off tickets for beet bags
• Collect sugar beet samples
• Weigh inbound/outbound trucks

Requirements

• Available and willing to work weekends and holidays
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Work in outdoor weather conditions (hot and cold)
• Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs
• Perform entry level tasks with basic hand tools
• Perform general cleaning operations
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age

Pay

• Starting at $17.93/hr to $26.77/hr

Schedule

• 12+ hour shifts
• Holidays and weekends as needed
• Overtime after 40 hours
