Responsibilities
- Inspect vendor supplied parts and outside processing operations for conformance to blueprint using a wide variety of gauges and sophisticated measuring equipment.
- Generate non-conformance reports utilizing quality control software.
- Review supplier First Article Inspection Reports for compliance to AS9102 standards.
- Perform or review First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements.
- Use an advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Use advanced inspection equipment such as CMM, Roundness Analyzer, SmartScope, and Surface Analyzers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- At least 3 years of experience inspecting precision machined components utilizing a variety of inspection techniques and gauges.
- At least 3 years of experience using TipQA or equivalent quality software.
- At least 3 years of experience generating non-conformance reports using TipQA or equivalent software.
- At least 3 years of experience performing or reviewing First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements.
- At least 3 years of experience using an advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience using advanced inspection equipment such as CMM, Roundness Analyzer, SmartScope, and Surface Analyzers is preferred.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of systems and procedures acquired through several years of experience.
