About the role
We have an exciting opening for a Receiving Clerk/Truck Driver in Wadsworth, OH. In the Motion Systems Group and Pneumatic Division, we play a pivotal role in applications that change our world. We help customers solve complex engineering challenges by living our purpose: enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely operate a lift truck and typical delivery vehicle (pick-up truck).
- Make needed pickups/deliveries via company delivery truck.
- Perform receiving duties including receiving materials into the mainframe system and processing paperwork.
- Review packing slips to verify correct part numbers/purchase orders.
- Verify quantity received using either hand counts or weigh scales. <
- Maintain locators and inventory at the warehouse facility.
- Inform supervisor of maintenance needs on all vehicles/equipment used.
- Efficiently and safely load/unload truck of chips, solids, finished goods, etc.
- Deliver all inventory-received items to proper locations as needed.
- Efficiently and accurately transfer material for various areas and perform inventory transactions.
- Follow all OSHA compliance regulations.
- Keep work area neat, clean, and organized using the 5S+Safety approach.
- Perform all safety checks at the beginning of each shift (e.g., tow motor checklist).
- Be engaged in initiating Lean processes.
- Actively contribute to High Performance Team initiatives.
- Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a certification in line with State, DOT, and Parker Requirements.
- Obtain and maintain a forklift and crane operator license.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use Parker’s various online systems via computer.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize/organize changing roles and priorities.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.

Monday through Friday – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
