Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Build orders for hotel outlets by retrieving and placing items listed on requisition on a cart or pallet.
    • Physically deliver product to ordering department and obtain proper signatures.
    • Check to ensure items are in good condition, and proper amount is issued.
    • Physically count product and check invoice for correct amount and proper description.
    • Retrieve delivered items from dock and put in the proper storage area.
    • Drive to different locations to pick-up supplies for hotel.
    • Clean warehouse and dock areas as needed.
    • Make constant contact with both internal and external customers to provide optimal guest service.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Comprehend and follow written and/or verbal instructions from supervisors/manager.
  • Work with interruptions.
  • Able to simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills.
  • Maintain coordination, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, bending over, crouching, frequently reaching overhead, and occasionally kneeling during the duration of their shift.
  • Must be able to constantly push/pull and lift/carry 50lbs or less.
  • The team member will have constant use of both feet, both hands, and light and firm/strong grasping motions.
  • Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
  • Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others.
  • Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud or quiet at times.
  • Team Member may be exposed to confined areas, extreme heat, extreme cold, vibrations, solvents/oils, fumes/odors, dirt/dust, moving objects, high places, and/or secondhand smoke.
