Receiving Clerk

About the role

A Receiving Clerk plays an important part of the Inbound team by ensuring timely processing of received product. You’ll work with products from clients heavily involved in the active lifestyle. Success in this role requires a team-oriented, proactive individual with high attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting daily priorities, while remaining focused on partnering with the team and identifying potential roadblocks.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm

Pay

Starting pay: $18.50 an hour

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience as an Inbound Clerk
• Experience with basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Trustworthy and moral character (pre-employment background & drug tests are used)
• Physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including:
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Walking and standing for extended periods
  • Climbing ladders/stairs
  • Working at heights in elevated areas
  • Tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, and cold

Responsibilities

• Ensure all inbound schedules are maintained and that documentation is accurate for all shipments
• Work with Supervisor to determine inbound volumes and arrival times
• Accurately enter all documents, ensuring they are complete and ready for processing in the system
• Constantly communicate with clients via email
• Follow NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Keep work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
• Perform other duties as requested
