About the role
The Receiving Clerk at the 070 Carrollton Store is a key member of the Store Operations Team. This role is based at 1235 S. Josey Ln., Carrollton, Texas, 75006.
Responsibilities
- Operate the receiving department for the store under direct supervision of the Store Director.
- Handle the entire operation of the receiving department, including processing incoming goods and ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
- Ensure that all received products are properly stored and labeled according to store policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and suppliers to resolve issues and inquiries.
- Lift and move up to 60 pounds as needed, and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and bending.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write both Spanish and English.
- Interact with the general public and co-workers.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Perform basic PC/Outlook skills and have a Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
Qualifications
Essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.
