About the role

The Receiving Attendant ensures all food, beverage, and nonfood deliveries are received, inspected, and match approved purchase orders. Responsibilities include logging guest packages, maintaining purchase order files, conducting storeroom inventories, and fulfilling department requisitions. The role involves direct vendor interaction, verifying shipment accuracy, and assisting with month-end inventories.

Responsibilities

• Stock and prepare storerooms daily for operations.
• Load and unload deliveries, distributing items across the resort.
• Interact with vendors and compare work orders, POs, and invoices for accuracy.
• Communicate delivery status to department leadership using work devices (e.g., hand trucks, pallet trucks).
• Answer department phones and address vendor, guest, and employee needs.
• Assist in preparing interdepartmental or external correspondence.
• Train in proper receiving procedures to ensure product freshness.
• Support month-end or quarterly inventories as required.
• Maintain office supplies storage and attend training/meetings as directed.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.
• Maintain cleanliness of loading dock, storeroom, refrigerator, and freezer areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and progressive hospitality experience.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Proficiency in basic computer equipment and Microsoft 365 Office.
• Valid driver’s license; motor vehicle background check required.
• Food Handlers Certification (compliant with State regulations).

Pay
