About the role

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for loading and unloading transformers to ensure proper assignment into Sunbelt Solomon’s inventory. This position supports monthly operational goals and maintains internal quality standards while complying with all safety factors.

Responsibilities

• Match incoming transformer unit information and assign inventory control numbers
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Complete daily and weekly production output targets
• Elevate complex issues such as unusual nameplates and testing concerns
• Perform basic transactions in operating systems using scanners and computers
• Support team members in resolving questions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate hoists, forklifts, and other equipment
• Cooperative attitude toward internal and external customers
• Dependable and strong work ethic with a focus on safety
• Professional language and conduct at all times
• Basic computer knowledge
• Physical ability to:
  • Stand and walk for long durations
  • Bend, squat, and kneel multiple times for extended periods
  • Work in non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold)

Schedule

6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
