Cashier

About the role

An OTC cashier contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons.

This position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages customers to return to an OTC and recommend it to others.

Responsibilities

• Ringing up sales
• Answering customers' questions
• Precision in handling cash and credit purchases
• Enhancing the experience of other OTC employees
• Giving feedback to their manager about how service could be improved
• Adapting to various situations with ease and being flexible

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling money
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using cash registers)
