A Typical Day
- Receives all raw material items scheduled for WHEY dock that are required for production.
- Inspects all inbound materials to ensure product conformity and quality standards are maintained.
- Gathers, organizes, and disseminates all necessary documentation to ensure all federal, state, or other parties' needs for this information is met and maintained on required items.
- Accurately processes all receipts and other documentation necessary for proper inventory control.
- Assists in providing prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customers.
- Supports the Production Material Coordinator and Purchasing Manager by providing support.
- Demonstrates organizational skills with the ability to comply with deadlines.
- Maintains professional standards and demonstrates sound judgment during peak periods of activity.
- Operates a forklift and hand truck.
- Coaches and trains teammates, and participates in on the job training.
- Prioritizes food safety and sanitation by understanding and executing HCC's food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicates any food safety incidents, observations, or opportunities to leadership teams or teammates as well as participates in food safety and sanitation root cause analysis and improvement activities when required.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
- Works 8-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities

- Reports any safety issues, observations, or opportunities to teams and follows up.
What You Will Need
- English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Able to work 8-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift experience.
What Will Put You Ahead
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- SAP experience.
- Dairy manufacturing experience.
- Inventory control experience with direct materials or related fields.
- Experience in first in, first out (FIFO) stocking method.

- Stand and walk almost the entire workday.
