Area of Interest: Support ServicesFTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0Department: Central Supply- DowntownShift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm / 8 hr shiftsJob ID: 186418 Overview Unity Point Health St. Luke's- Downtown Full Time, Days 7am-3:30pm As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs receiving tasks within the ERP system.This includes administrative tasks related to inspection, receiving, and distribution of inbound and outbound shipments.The position is responsible for communicating discrepancies in shipments with the Central Procurement department.The position is responsible for processing returns in conjunction with the Buyer. Responsibilities Responsible for efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbedInspects packages for damagesVerifies product shipment to packing slipAppropriately and accurately documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP systemIdentifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipmentsFiles packing slips and receiving recordsCompletes deliver of packages to correct location per Purchase OrderProcesses vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to processMay deliver supplies and/or equipment to, departments as appropriate. Qualifications Education: High School diploma Experience: 1-2 years in supply chain distribution. Health care supply chain experience preferred.Preferred experience with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, an Outlook. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-realted reasons.
