Receiver | Part-Time | Mass Mutual Center

Responsibilities

• Aid in product purchasing and ordering, and oversee receiving and distribution control.
• Maintain and manage sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Assist with Catering or Concessions event operations as directed by Spectra management.
• Ensure adherence to purchase order system for all orders received at each warehouse.
• Verify proper specification, size, quantity, etc. of goods received, and supervise proper labeling, dating, and stocking of supplies.
• Oversee and ensure appropriate stocking levels are met for each event, and rotate and maintain the integrity of product.
• Conduct a walk-through of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests to foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations, including geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possession of a valid Food Handler's certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by state or local government.
• Thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc., pertaining to Spectra and venue concession operations.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
• Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and confidentiality.
