Receiver Part Time

Job Summary

Responsible for accurately receiving product and supporting the completion of receiving reports when required. Maintains standards in the receiving department related to organization, cleanliness, safe operation of forklifts, safe product placement, product protection, and cold‑chain standards.

Responsibilities

• Research and annotate receiving reports, including direct‑to‑club and negative‑on‑hand reports.
• Process and organize files, receipts, and outbound shipment paperwork.
• Maintain dock security, conduct bag checks, and monitor the flow of team members and visitors in receiving and secure areas.
• Ensure compactors are locked, secured, and used only by authorized personnel; verify all product is properly accounted for.
• Safely operate a forklift to receive merchandise accurately according to company processes and policies.
• Store received merchandise according to product specifications.
• Receive Direct Store Delivery (DSD) loads and process DSD credits as needed.
• Process reverse‑logistic information and corporate‑office‑initiated returns.
• Keep the dock organized and clean.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of required training and certification processes.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job Conditions

• Continuous movement on hard surfaces.
• Frequent bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and use of ladders/step stools.
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 30 lb; occasional lifting of heavier or oversized items with assistance.
• Use of a pallet jack to pull/push pallets.
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures, including extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.
• Frequent exposure to hazardous material.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.25 – $21.13 per hour.
