This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a key part in receiving, storing, and shipping materials and finished goods, while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with FDA and cGMP standards.

About the role

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods. You will ensure shipment transactions are promptly entered into the ERP System (SAP) in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures and follow through on all material movements to guarantee they are handled in compliance with FDA and cGMP procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
  • Receive raw material components, verify items against the record of shipment, and label components for in-house use.
  • Unload, verify, and sign for incoming shipments.
  • Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Ensure no damaged items are received; communicate with personnel about any damaged shipments.
  • Perform general duties including housekeeping, stocking, safety, and maintenance.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment discrepancies and missing paperwork.
  • Notify departments when their shipment has arrived.
  • Assist other departments by locating items within the warehouse.
  • Manage safety requirements to minimize risks.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, and/or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Proficiency in English to read documentation, communicate, and write.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Prior forklift experience; ability to pass company standards for operating forklifts and power jacks.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to drive a 26’ box truck.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and transfer loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks.
  • Required to stand for at least 75% of working time per shift, with walking at least 50% of working time per shift.
  • Required to reach above shoulder and below waist occasionally.
  • Required to push and pull.

Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX Software or ability to learn Microsoft AX Materials Management module.
  • SAP software experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in business environment software applications (MS Office).
  • Service-oriented, detail-oriented, and strong internal customer focus.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Highly motivated, proactive problem solver, and self-starter.
  • Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques.
  • Good communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, collaborative, and positive attitude.

Schedule

Weekend night shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am, Friday - Sunday.

Pay

Annual base salary range for this role is $18.86 - $28.29 per hour. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and shift differential pay.
