Material Handler/Fab Tech - Weekend Night Shift

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (+$3.00/hour shift differential)

Shift Perks

Responsibilities

• Move materials (sheet/WIP) as needed to support fabrication (unload trucks, move material to/from various FAB departments)
• Load, unload sheets and parts off laser
• Assist press brake in bending parts (2-man jobs)
• Assist weld with weldments (tacking, kitting, prepping, etc.)
• Metal finish units as needed and/or based on demand

Key Job Duties

• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications
• Follow company policy and standards
• Able to operate forklifts and hoists
• Keep work centers clean and orderly
• Able to take and follow directives

Requirements

• 2+ years fabrication/manufacturing experience
• Forklift driving experience

Desired Qualities

• Ability to work and function as a team
• Self-motivated and can work without much supervision
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
• Safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions

Pay

$23.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift differential
