Receiver II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet and build rapport with vendors.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to employees'/customers' questions in an effective manner.
• Receive shipments, examine and inspect all products for quality.
• Fill orders by stocking items from the warehouse and stock shelves as needed with product from the warehouse.
• Work with management team to coordinate and facilitate shipment placement.
• Document all overages, damages, and shortages.
• Communicate with truck delivery drivers on specific location for proper and safe delivery.
• Processing returns/credits for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Basic department cleaning upkeep.
• Use handheld technology for scanning items.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• Operate power equipment to move heavy material like fork trucks and/or pallet jacks.

Skills And Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience working receiving.
• Grocery retail background preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• WALKING: Continuously, throughout the day, while moving about the store and obtaining product from the warehouse.
• STANDING: Continuously, throughout the shift while stocking and facing product.
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics. Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
