Receiver / General Utility Worker - Raising Canes - Clemson Univ.

About the role

As a General Utility Worker you will maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and the environments we work in while delivering high levels of service and safety. This role serves as the starting point for your career and offers opportunities to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils
• Maintain the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas in a clean state
• Keep equipment clean and in working condition; report any issues to management
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks as assigned
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensure the security of company assets

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
• Readiness to wear uniforms and/or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
