About the Role
Combine hands-on warehouse skills with top-notch customer service! As a Design Center Assistant / Receiver at Classic Rock, you'll help homeowners make their dream selections while ensuring materials move efficiently through our warehouse. This role is perfect for organized, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Design Center Support:
- Deliver exceptional customer service during design appointments
- Assist homeowners with stone, edge profile, and sink selections
- Answer phones and schedule design appointments
- Mark and track materials for customer holds, maintaining the Material Hold Log
- Facilitate Slab Smith photo documentation as needed
Receiving & Inventory:
- Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials
- Notify or deliver products to end users and departments
- Verify documentation (packing slips, invoices) for all receipts
- Enter receiving data into the computer system and send digital copies to Purchasing
- Maintain raw material and critical supply inventories, including organization and cleaning
- Assist with outbound shipments and inventory cycle counts
General Responsibilities:

- Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years of related experience
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and diagrams
- Strong communication skills to interact with homeowners, colleagues, and vendors
- Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals
- Ability to lift up to 125 pounds, and perform regular physical activity (standing, walking, reaching, stooping, handling)
- Fluent in English
Work Environment
- Primarily warehouse, occasionally outdoor
- Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required while performing receiver duties
