Responsibilities

  • Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification
  • Route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations
  • Perform shipping/receiving functions with regards to material handling; utilize loading dock equipment to ensure a safe loading and unloading process is completed
  • Check goods received against purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports
  • Verify quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc., to properly identify materials
  • Responsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying items
  • Process warranty items such as entering Returned Goods Authorizations into the database
  • Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and necessary adjustments
  • Operate cranes and hoists
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; ensure compliance across teams
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related experience or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Benefits

In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution are offered (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
