Rec Cashier - Golf
JOB SUMMARY
Provides customer service at the city facilities, including the Laguna Lake Golf Course pro-shop and the SLO Swim Center front counter; collects fees from patrons, processes daily/shift revenue paperwork, assists patrons with facility reservations, and keeps the facility clean and clear of litter.
Average Hours Per Week
- Laguna Lake Golf Course: 12-24
- SLO Swim Center: 20-30 (Summer), 10-15 (non-Summer)
Class Characteristics
This class is distinguished from other front counter positions in that it is part-time/seasonal and is only assigned to City recreation facilities.
Supervision
Employees in this classification work under the direct supervision of the divisional Recreation Coordinators and Specialists.
Educational and Experience Requirements
None and No prior working experience. Customer service or experience as a cashier is preferred. or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession And Maintenance Of Not less than 15 years of age at time of appointment.

This position will be required to complete the following before a final offer is made: Live Scan Fingerprinting (DOJ)
