Rebar Contract Coordinator
Job Summary
Responsible for creating and maintaining an active billing log for rebar contracts. Ensures the contract is billed 100%, details and submittal drawings are sent on the requested date, and manages any change orders or extras to the original contract.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities
- Ensures that all customer information is listed on the job form, confirms what is included and what is excluded, and verifies dollar amounts, as well as important customer contact information.
- Manages billing for each rebar project in conjunction with awarded quote and purchase order.
- Handles and manages Change Orders and Extras on rebar contracts.
- Affords assistance in assigning projects that are awarded to detailers.
- Creates Bill of Materials for billing.
Nature and Scope
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor. Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor. None.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education And Experience
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
