About the role

As a Realty Project Coach on the Realty Execution team for Walmart US, you will take ownership of delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the United States. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Walmart’s top-notch quality standards. In this role, you will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track. Frequent travel across the US is required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the execution of projects in assigned stores and clubs.
  • Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders.
  • Minimize disruption to store operations during project execution.
  • Supervise and develop hourly team members, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition.
  • Evaluate talent, identify career paths, and reinforce teamwork by resolving concerns involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates.

Project Ownership

  • Own the execution of projects in your assigned stores and clubs.

  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members.
  • Listen and act on ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns.
  • Evaluate talent, train and mentor, provide recognition, and identify career paths for associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area OR 3 years of experience in one of those areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.

Travel

  • Frequent travel up to 1,000 miles from home is required.
  • Expect to be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17–21 days at a time.
  • Travel areas are based on project workload and will change as business needs evolve.
  • Mileage is reimbursed and overnight stays are paid for Realty Project Coach roles.

Schedule

  • Primarily working overnights; night shifts average 10–12 hours.

Pay

  • The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $110,000.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
