Realty Project Coach

Position Summary

The (USA) Realty Project Coach oversees the successful execution of realty projects by managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder collaboration. This role directs associates and vendors to ensure project requirements are met while maintaining alignment with corporate strategies.

About the team

The Realty Execution team at Walmart US leads store remodels, new openings, and special projects nationwide, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The team collaborates with store leadership and cross-functional partners to manage timelines, vendor coordination, and resource allocation. Members provide guidance to associates and address escalations to maintain smooth operations.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage realty execution projects, ensuring timely completion of scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to analyze plans, address obstacles, and implement corrective actions.
• Direct associates and vendors on processes, procedures, and modular plan reviews to meet facility goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including engineers, architects, and facility management to align project phases and design changes.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and procurement to ensure cost-effective and efficient project delivery.
• Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to associates, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Communicate project plans and progress clearly to all key stakeholders.

• Expertise in monitoring budgets, assessing economic impacts, and creating efficient, cost-effective project schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1 year’s experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
• All associates in role January 1, 2021 or after will need to sign an updated JD including the above language (but will not be impacted).

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters: Business Project Management - Management Professional Certification (Project Management Institute)
