Reality Capture Technician
Responsibilities
- C Conduct high-precision LiDAR scans of client sites, ensuring complete and accurate data collection.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain scanning equipment, including RTC Leica or similar.
- Perform reality capture registration and ensure high-quality processing of collected data.
- Input scans and detailed, accurate data into company systems for further modeling and analysis.
- Review scan results to confirm data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Serve as the company's representative on-site, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns during the scanning process.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, representing the company professionally and ensuring exceptional service.
Requirements
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in LiDAR scanning and reality capture.
- Prior experience with scanners such as Leica, NavVis VLX, Faro, or similar.
- Experience working on large-scale high-tech construction sites.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in scans and data processing.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for client-facing interactions.
- Able to work independently and problem-solve on-site.
- Passion for technology and learning, with the ability to adapt to evolving industry tools.
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Experience with reality capture registration is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Leica Register 360 or Cyclone software is highly preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must be 21+ in order to rent a car.
Work Environment
- This position involves 100% travel, primarily Monday through Friday.
- Candidates must live local to Phoenix, AZ.
- The role is overtime eligible and requires the ability to walk, stand, and move across uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Regularly lifting and carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.
- Work is conducted outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Willingness to travel for training or to support client sites is necessary, and the ability to safely drive rental vehicles is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $62,400.00/yr. Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Time, and Holiday.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix, AZ.
