About the role
The Reality Capture Quality Manager plays a key role in aligning and implementing the company's strategy and initiatives, championing Reality Capture technology and processes. This position requires a strong leader who can empower Rogers-O'Brien to occupy a powerful role in the Texas construction ecosystem and create a reputation across the greater country and industry.
Responsibilities
- Train and coach team members in VDC, Field Engineering, and Operations to understand the value of Reality Capture tools and leverage when necessary.
- Create and seek out professional development opportunities for yourself and fellow team members.
- Develop Reality Capture Guidelines and Standards and oversee their implementation throughout the organization.

- Coordinate, manage, and maintain reality capture hardware.
- Partner with other specialists to improve the performance, success, and support of Reality Capture techniques, processes, and services across all projects and departments.
- Partner with the Quality Department to deliver services that meet the needs of their initiatives.
- Develop annual budgets and projections for reality capture hardware and software, and align them with business needs.
- Attend and speak at industry conferences and participate in webinars to highlight RO's successes and processes.
- Provide thought leadership and data insight to Rogers-O'Brien and the industry through demonstrated knowledge of emerging trends in Reality Capture technology, solutions, vendors, innovation leaders, and early adopters.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Reality Capture hardware and software, including Drone Deploy, Pix4D, Propeller, EdgeWise, FARO Scene, Cintoo, Civil 3D, ReCap, OpenSpace, and StructionSite.
- Understanding of construction processes and the roles of each key stakeholder.
- Experience working in Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction field using Reality Capture Hardware & Software.
- General knowledge and competency of computer hardware and software.
- Understanding of geospatial data sources, cartography, geographic concepts, and governance of data management.
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop team members in the use of Reality Capture tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and analyze risk and rewards of proposed innovation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Reality Capture, with a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with others.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies through the use of technology and data analysis.
