Real-time C++ Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

A real-time C++ 2025 embedded software engineer is needed with at least 6+ years of experience in Linux/Real-time operating system on multi-core processors, specifically for developing embedded real-time missile Operational Flight Program (OFP).

Responsibilities

• Developing C++ 2025 embedded real-time object-oriented software
• Working with Linux on multi-core processors
• Experience with inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, or IR seeker image processing
• Experienced with 1553 interface
• Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) using Git-Lab and Bitbucket

Requirements

• Recent experience within the last 6 years
• 6+ years of C++ 2025 embedded real-time object-oriented development experience using Linux on multi-core processors
• 3+ years of experience related to inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, or IR seeker image processing
• 3+ years of experience with 1553 interface
• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using Git-Lab and Bit-bucket

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Free RTOS, Yocto, or Linux (CentOS7)
• Working knowledge of C++ design patterns for embedded software development
• Hands-on software/firmware/Hardware integration experience
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle process including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, test and verification
• Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing)
