Responsibilities
- Install, service, and remove real estate post signs, frames, riders, and panels.
- Load and unload posts, panels, and hardware daily.
- Complete service requests and routes accepted by the contractor with agreed turnaround times.
- Accurately scan and track inventory using mobile devices.
- Maintain clean, professional installations that meet brand and broker standards.
- Identify damaged or missing signs and report issues immediately.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and dispatch.
- Safely operate vehicles, hand tools, and power tools.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable truck, van, or trailer capable of hauling posts and signage.
- Smartphone with data plan for routing and job tracking.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience using post drivers, sledges, augers, and basic power tools.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
- Background in sign installation, construction, landscaping, fencing, or handyman work preferred.
- Active Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance is required.
- Auto insurance meeting state minimums.
- Must comply with all 1099 independent contractor requirements.
Contractor Expectations
- Maintain required insurance at all times.
- Provide and maintain tools and safety equipment.
- Complete assigned work within agreed service-level targets (e.g., typical completion within X business days of order).
- Maintain accurate inventory control and accountability.
- Contractor retains control over the manner and means of performing the work, subject only to meeting agreed specifications and completion timelines.
Pay
Earning potential: $70,000+ annually. Earning potential varies based on route density, stop volume accepted, and contractor efficiency; figures are estimates, not guarantees.
Schedule
Work typically occurs Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work based on order volume and contractor availability.
