Real Estate Partner Attorney – Boston

About the role

A leading national law firm is seeking an accomplished Real Estate Partner to join its Boston office and play a significant role within a sophisticated, established real estate practice. This opportunity is well suited to a senior attorney with a strong commercial real estate background who is looking for a platform that offers high-quality work, national resources, and the opportunity to continue developing a substantial practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, investors, owners, and other market participants on complex real estate transactions and development matters
• Lead sophisticated transactions spanning acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, joint ventures, commercial leasing, land use and zoning, and related strategic real estate matters
• Manage key client relationships and provide strategic counsel on complex matters
• Contribute meaningfully to the continued growth of the practice

Qualifications

• Approximately 12–20 years of commercial real estate experience
• Strong track record representing developers, investors, and owners
• Established or portable book of business required
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and client-management skills
• JD required
• Previous experience working in a law firm
• Admitted to practice and in good standing in Massachusetts

Pay

• Compensation expected in the range of $300,000–$500,000, with ultimate package dependent on experience, practice profile, and the size and quality of the candidate's historical and portable book of business
• Additional performance-based compensation may also be available
