About the role
We are a small, boutique law firm based in Norwell, Massachusetts, specializing in real estate title examination, title insurance, and escrow-related services. Our team takes pride in delivering precise, personalized, and efficient service to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our close-knit team and take ownership of complex commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare title insurance commitments, issue title policies, and review title examinations for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare settlement statements, HUD-1 statements, closing disclosures, and all related transaction documents.
- Review escrow agreements and act as escrow agent for commercial and residential closings.
- Analyze title commitments, surveys, and easements; identify and resolve title issues in coordination with attorneys and clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for closing timelines, document delivery, and approvals, ensuring all parties are aligned.
- Maintain organized and compliant transaction files from opening through post-closing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience in real estate closings, title insurance, and escrow.
- Deep understanding of Massachusetts real estate title law, title examination, and title insurance practices.
- Proficiency in preparing HUD statements, closing disclosures, and settlement documents.
- Experience with closing software (e.g., SoftPro, Qualia, or similar) is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
