About the role

The New York office of Hogan Lovells is seeking an outstanding mid to senior-level associate to join our highly regarded real estate practice. Ideal candidates should have four to six years of real estate transactional experience, preferably from a large law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients in connection with their commercial real estate transactions, financings and workouts.
  • Developing a varied skilled set and working with colleagues in multiple offices.
  • Experience with real estate finance, purchase and sale and/or joint ventures.
  • Managing matters and interacting directly with clients.
  • Strong drafting skills, excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Supervising junior attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements

  • A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member of the Bar in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Four to six years of real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience with real estate finance, purchase and sale and/or joint ventures.
  • Comfort interacting directly with clients.
  • Strong drafting skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this role is $310,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications.
