Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an associate to join its Real Estate Investment and Finance group in the Chicago office.

Responsibilities

• Experience with real estate debt and equity transactions
• Drafting transactional documents, including equity operating documents, loan documents and purchase and sale agreements
• Transactional due diligence review, including title and survey matters
• Managing all aspects of transactional closings
• Thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrating sound judgment
• Taking ownership of work assignment responsibilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of complex commercial real estate experience at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm
• Admitted to the Illinois State Bar or eligible for submission on waiver

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $235,000 - $440,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history and class/graduation year.
