Real Estate Finance Paralegal

About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working on sophisticated transactions, managing multiple priorities, and playing a critical role in bringing complex deals to a successful close. You'll work closely with attorneys and lenders throughout all phases of commercial real estate finance transactions, from due diligence and document preparation through closing and post-closing support.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise loan documents as transaction terms evolve
• Maintain and update lender-specific forms and financing documentation
• Conduct litigation, bankruptcy, and UCC searches related to real estate transactions
• Prepare and file UCC financing statements and related documents
• Coordinate transaction closings and prepare final execution packages
• Review and organize executed closing documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Handle post-closing document delivery and file management
• Organize, maintain, and track due diligence materials
• Manage multiple active transactions while meeting critical deadlines
• Provide additional transactional support and special project assistance as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience supporting a high-volume transactional legal practice
• Strong background in commercial real estate finance, lending, or related transactional work
• Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and complex document formatting
• Strong skills using PDF editing tools and legal document management systems
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines

Pay

$90,000-$145,000 Base + Bonus Potential
