Position Overview
The Real Estate Finance Analyst will contribute to the organization's real estate strategy, focusing on new store performance and capital management for the initial build-out budget.
Position Responsibilities
- Support the Real Estate Finance team in providing data-driven recommendations for real estate strategy and long-range financial planning
- Partner with Operations and Real Estate teams to assess the impact of remodels, relocations, or closures on the portfolio performance
- Own the renewal P&L modeling, showing the economics of upcoming store lease renewals
- Work with cross-functional leaders to understand business performance and provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making
- Monitor capital budget tracking for the new store pipeline, ensuring spend is aligned with approved budgets and flagging variances in real time
- Review and monitor Real Estate capital expenditures, investments, and strategic projects to ensure senior management has clear and concise capital reporting
- Build post-project audits, summarizing project returns and using that information for future investments
- Work with the Construction team to track and ensure timely billing and collections from landlords
- Identify opportunities to improve capital planning processes, increase efficiency, accuracy, and completeness, and build repeatable systems
- Streamline and automate real estate financial processes, improving efficiency, scalability, and data integrity
- Support ad hoc real estate financial analysis and strategic initiatives as required by senior leadership
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or real estate finance
- Demonstrated experience building pro-forma models and/or owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial planning systems or data visualization tools (e.g., Hyperion, Essbase, IBM Planning Analytics, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
- Experience with real estate pro-forma modeling, site-selection analysis, or capital project tracking is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial statements and key business performance drivers
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

- Annual salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law
